“The Creator”

50 × 60 cm (19.7 × 23.6 in)

Acrylic on canvas

The Creator is the artist in all of us: the dreamer, the free spirit, the one who sees the world in colour and longs to make something new. Behind him, every idea he has ever had rushes past in wild streaks of colour. Yet he stays grey, eyes closed, face lifted, lost in what he might one day make. Time is not endless, and he spends it thinking instead of creating. He is the quiet shadow in every creative person: the part of you that keeps waiting for the perfect moment while your best ideas rush by.
